The Mahindra XUV700 will be available in both petrol and diesel engines with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic. This vehicle produces 2-liter petrol 200bhp of power and 380Nm of torque.
The vehicle will have a 2.2-liter diesel engine in two tones – 420Nm for manual and 185bhp with 450Nm for automatic .
The next model have 155bhp version with 360Nm for entry-level versions. Its first effects are really good. The engine of this vehicle is smooth and the vibration is very low for anyone.
This is when you reach a high speed of the vehicle . you will hear a little more noise than you would like while speeding in it.
However, it is not a very annoying diesel clutter and the engine is quite clean. This overall NVH level is the best in the class if not the best.
Another good thing about this engine is that it delivers poor performance while running. It gives you a pulling power of about 450Nm. it rotates at least 1750 and it keeps the peak torque flat at 2800rpm . which is a good operating range under normal driving conditions.
The six-speed Automatic gearbox is so well appreciated by this car powerful engine. Of course, it doesn’t have a dual-clutch unit . The gearshifts aren’t fast power but it works to drive around the city and cover long distances on highways.
This gear moves up and down easily, don’t hesitate to bumper traffic when you go throttle. Overall this is a great and comfortable gearbox that does its job beautifully.
Comfort, Convenience, And Features
Top-spec AX7 variant with everything that can be expected in terms of features and connectivity technology. You get a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and next . it there is an instrument console, wireless phone mirroring, dual-zone climate control, LED headlights, turn indicator, everywhere leather, electrically adjustable driver seat, and a panoramic sunroof.
The XUV700 also comes with several segment-first features such as pop-out door handles, seven airbags including a driver’s knee, built-in Alexa voice commands. its Sony’s surround sound system.
However, the main thing is that Mahindra introduced ADAS systems at this price point. The XUV700 comes with advanced driver-focused safety systems .
Such as forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and high.
However, something similar is missing in this car. the steering column is adjustable for the rack only and does not have ventilated seats or front parking sensors.
Then there is the lack of pedal sifters that we think should be performed here based on the offer. Some people may argue that this car looks a bit familiar from the outside and yes, we agree some elements remind us of the XUV500 but it’s a big leap in both interior design and finishes. It’s modern, well-connected and overall it’s just a great place to spend time.
In terms of rear-seat space, there is a lot of room for the knee and headroom and because this cabin is mostly white, the whole atmosphere is great. Conditions are not better in the third row of this vehicle.
First of all, the process of entering the third row is not at all easy and once you are here. you will realize that the third-row accommodation is best reserved for a quick trip to your local restaurant or hangout spot.
You can see it’s very tight and there’s hardly any seat comfort on offer and so like the Alcazar, the XUV700 barely makes it into the five and two.
Its design is not only an update on the XUV500. it is also a brand new look, the elements of which we will see in future models. Things like this new logo will be used exclusively for their SUV range. For actual design, yes, some design hints will remind you of the XUV500.
The headlights sink from the edge and point to the area of the number plate and the vertical slats on the front grille.
However, there are also many new features such as smartly designed bumpers. New logos, and LED headlamps that give the XUV700 its identity.
The overall profile may look like five double ohms but many changes make the design consistent. First of all, you have pop-out door handles that flush when locked, giving the doors a really clean look.

Extending the range, the AX3 petrol manual is priced at Rs 13.99 lakh . the AX5 is priced at Rs 14.99 lakh.
This gives the XUV700 great value. Especially with the option pack is the top range of the AX7 series. you may have guessed by now, this is an impressive product on a lot of numbers.It is given power, road presence, features, and finally, an interior that can compete best in the segment. Mahindra has outperformed the XUV and it shows.
